ASAC

The Association for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth (ASAC) envisions a world where every person gives birth with dignity and experiences an empowered transition into parenthood. ASAC is part of a network of parents and health professionals who advocate for informed choices and a full range of birth options, including hospital, home, or birthing centre, particularly oriented towards midwifery care. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, ASAC aims to encourage alternatives to the technological approach in childbirth.
