Every clinic page tells you where its information comes from and how recently it was checked. Here is exactly what each label means — nothing more, nothing less.
Listed
The clinic's details come from public records — professional college registries, public listings, and the clinic's own website. This is the starting point for every clinic in the directory. We haven't recently re-checked the details, so call ahead to confirm hours and availability.
✓ Verified
We confirmed the clinic's contact details within the last 12 months — by cross-checking a professional registry or directly checking that the clinic's website and contact channels are live and current. If a listing hasn't been re-confirmed in 12 months, the badge comes off until it is.
★ Owner-managed
The clinic has claimed this profile and keeps its own details up to date — services, hours, booking, and photos come from the clinic itself. This is the strongest signal a profile can carry.
What none of these labels mean
No label is an endorsement of clinical quality, and none can be bought — advertising and featured placement never change a clinic's label. Clinic Directory routes your requests to clinics; we don't diagnose, treat, or recommend care. Always confirm a provider's registration with their professional college if it matters to your decision.
