Aboriginal Wellness Program The

The Indigenous Health program at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) aims to make VCH a safe place for healing, designed to preserve traditional healing practices and ensure cultural needs are addressed in all care plans. They strive to provide equitable access to health services and improved health and wellness outcomes for 14 First Nation communities within the VCH region, working collaboratively to address health challenges and move toward reconciliation. The program is committed to improving health and access to culturally safe health care for Indigenous People in the region.
